Brooklyn Comedy Festival Extends Application Deadline to 3/29

Brooklyn, NY, (February 10, 2015) - The Brooklyn Comedy Festival has set a deadline for accepting submissions for its August 2015 dates. Interested parties have through March 29th to submit their submissions online via Eventbrite.

Performers wishing to submit should go to http://bkcf2015.eventbrite.com

All genres of comedy will be eligible, including (but not limited to): standup, sketch, duo, improv, musical comedy, character, storytelling, and web series.

An unedited video up to five minutes in length is required for consideration. Each submission will cost $10 through February 28th, when the price increases to $15.

The annual Brooklyn Comedy Festival takes place over six nights in late-August, with a holiday event in December. Previous performers include Reggie Watts, Todd Barry, Trevor Noah, Hasan Minhaj, Michael Che, Hannibal Buress, Jeffrey Ross, Sasheer Zamata, Nikki Glaser, Chris Gethard, Mark Normand, Sean Patton, Vanessa Bayer, The Lucas Bros., Hari Kondabolu, Kevin Barnett, Jermaine Fowler, and more.

The 2015 festival will take place August 24th-29th, with a wrap party open to the public on August 30th.
