Amy Schumer to Return to Fox Theater, 2/1

The funniest, freshest face on television, Amy Schumer, will make her return to Foxwoods Resort Casino on Saturday, Feb. 1, 2014. The creator, star and writer of her own Comedy Central's hit series, Inside Amy Schumer, will hit the Fox Theater stage at 8 p.m.

Tickets are currently available for presale through Comix and Ticketmaster, and fans can purchase regular tickets in advance for $35, $45 and $55 beginning Friday, Nov. 1 at 10 a.m. The show is for mature audiences only.

Schumer's popular Comedy Central television series premiered to the network's highest season premiere ratings of 2013. Her provocative and hilariously wicked mind is on full display weekly, as she explores hot topics through a series of scripted vignettes, stand-up comedy and man-on-the-street interviews.

Returning for a 2nd season next year, the hit series comes on the heels of her one-hour stand-up special, Mostly Sex Stuff, which became Comedy Central's second-highest rated special in 2012. Schumer was also one of the featured comedians on Comedy Central's Roast of Roseanne, following her memorable performance on the 2011 Roast of Charlie Sheen. She has also been seen on such critically-acclaimed series as Louie, Girls and 30 Rock, and on the big screen in "Seeking a Friend for the End of the World."
