Alice Tan Ridley, who boldly made herself known to the world during her phenomenal rendition of the Etta James classic, "At Last," on the 5th season of America's Got Talent, will present "Soulful Christmas" in the Ware Center's Atrium on Friday, December 18 at 7:30 p.m. Ridley will set the holiday mood with a selection of holiday favorites such as "Silent Night," "Santa Baby," "hallelujah," and "Away in a Manger," along with songs from her latest album and other favorites such as "Respect" and "I'll Take You There." All tickets include complimentary beverage service which begins at 7 p.m. with the concert beginning at 7:30 p.m. Small plates are available with this show for an additional $15. The Ware Center is located at 42 N. Prince Street, Lancaster.

For over 20 years, Alice was one of New York City's best-kept secrets: deep below the city in the subway platforms, she supported her family with the money she earned by street performing. Now, at 60, after national recognition, Alice lives her dream as a touring performance artist. She travels the country with her 7-piece band, featuring rhythm and horn sections comprised of world-class musicians. Alice has headlined at prestigious venues such as BB King's and Café Wha? in New York and performing arts centers such as Popejoy Hall in Albuquerque, NM, among many others. She has also performed at the United Nations for the Women's Group, after which her voice was described as an "extraordinary instrument of healing."

The New York Post, People Magazine, Perez Hilton, Popeater, and Oprah Radio have all given glowing reviews of Alice's voice. Gayle King remarked on Oprah Radio: "Alice showed the country her vocal skills and boundless talent. She has enough talent to be an international sensation."

Tickets are $25 or $40 with the inclusion of a small plate: choose between California Rolls, a Carne Cruda Platter, an Antipasti-Bruschetta Platter, and a Mini Assorted Dessert Platter. Tickets can be purchased online at ArtsMU.com, in person at the Ticket Office located in the Student Memorial Center on Millersville's campus, or at the Ware Center, located at 42 N. Prince Street, in Lancaster. Doors open one hour before each show for ticket sales, subject to availability.
