On November 9, 2012, The New York Pops orchestra was the star of the performance at Carnegie Hall's Stern Auditorium/Perelman Stage. Music Director and Conductor Steven Reineke led the orchestra in a highly-anticipated performance featuring a program of popular and familiar classical repertoire. BroadwayWorld attended the rehearsal before the show and brings you photos of Reineke leading the orchestra below!

The concert program featured music from some of the world's most beloved composers, including Respighi's "The Pines of the Appian Way" from The Pines of Rome, Maurice Ravel's "Bolero", Claude Debussy's "Claire de Lune", and Tchaikovsky's "Festival Overture in E-flat major, Op. 49" from The Year 1812. The concert also featured soloists from the orchestra, including concertmaster Cenovia Cummins and principal cellist David Heiss.
