VIDEO: Watch the Frightening New Trailer for SINISTER 2

Variety reports that Gramercy Pictures released the new trailer for the SINISTER new horror movie, SINISTER 2.

"Be careful - children at play" states the trailer, as we see two twin boys being haunted by the evil spirit we met in the original SINISTER movie, Bughuul. Shannyn Sossamon (Wayward Pines) portrays the boys' protective mother.

SINISTER 2 was directed by Ciarán Foy and written by Scott Derrickson and C. Robert Cargill. Jason Blum is producing via his Blumhouse Productions banner, along with Derrickson.

The original SINISTER (2012) starring Ethan Hawke grossed more than $80 million worldwide on a $3 million budget.

Comic-Con attendees can participate in "sinister sightings" - a scavenger hunt-style sweepstakes - in San Diego's Gaslamp Quarter on Friday and Saturday night.

SINISTER 2 comes to theaters on August 21.
