Two more episodes of Comedy Central's "The Half Hour" premiere on Saturday, September 5 at Midnight ET/PT and 12:30 a.m. ET/PT, featuring Michelle Buteau and Barry Rothbart. Highlight preview episode "Must CC: The Half Hour" is now available on the Comedy Central App and cc.com/thehalfhour, and on iTunes, Amazon Instant Video, Xbox Video, Apple Music, Vudu and Google Play. New episodes of "The Half Hour" will continue to rollout throughout the fall.

Filmed at The Royale in Boston, "The Half Hour" showcases some of the best up-and-coming stand-up comedians. The fourteen-episode season offers sets from comedians Tone Bell, Buteau, Sean Donnelly, Phil Hanley, Randy Liedtke, Joe List, Sam Morril, Rothbart, Andrew Santino, Beth Stelling, Liza Treyger, Brooks Wheelan, Andy Woodhull and Hampton Yount.

The bold and bawdy Buteau, couldn't be happier with her Dutch husband but she explains the unexpected hurdles that come with marrying into a "vintage White" family. Buteau's "The Half Hour" covers everything from melting at the beach, suspicious translation issues and an oddly racist Dutch Santa tradition. Rothbart's painfully funny stories of personal embarrassment are essential watching. Walking around town on Molly, following a live owl at a college show and being yelled at while nude in a spa are just a few accounts of Rothbart's propensity for stumbling into uncomfortable situations.

Leading up to the on-air premiere, Comedy Central Stand-Up and cc.com/thehalfhour will feature preview clips from the series. Fans can follow Buteau and Rothbart on Twitter at @MichelleButeau and @barryrothbart, and tweet using the hashtag #TheHalfHour to join the social chatter around the series.

Episodes of "The Half Hour" will be available day after air on the Comedy Central App and cc.com/thehalfhour to fans that sign in via their cable or satellite provider. The Comedy Central App is available for iPad and iPhone on the App Store, Android on Google Play, Roku, Xbox One and Chromecast. The episodes will also be available for download the day after air on iTunes, Amazon Instant Video, Xbox Video, Apple Music, Vudu and Google Play.

Buteau's digital album "Michelle Buteau: Shut Up," will be available on September 4 on iTunes, Amazon MP3, Google Play, Spotify, Apple Music and all streaming services.

Born in New Jersey to Caribbean parents, Buteau has toured the country performing at colleges, clubs, and festivals. Her television stand-up appearances include "The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, "Last Comic Standing," "Totally Biased with W. Kamau Bell" and "Lopez Tonight." Other television credits include a recurring role on "Enlisted" on FOX, Comedy Central's "Key & Peele" and "@midnight with Chris Hardwick." She was most recently the co-host on "Big Morning Buzz Live" on VH1.

Rothbart has been a stand-up guest on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," "Conan," "The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" and "Adam Devine's House Party" on Comedy Central. He was named a "New Face" and "Best of the Fest" performer at the 2011 Just For Laughs Montreal Comedy Fest, and was again honored at the festival in 2013 as one of Variety's 10 Comics to Watch. Rothbart can be seen in Martin Scorsese's "The Wolf of Wall Street" and Demetri Martin's recent feature "Dean." He created and also stars in "300 Sunnyside," a Comedy Central digital series alongside Betsy Sodaro, Nick Rutherford, Chris Reinacher, and Brian Huskey. His album, "Streets of Fire," was recently released by ASpecialThing Records.
