Obie Award winner Tracee Chimo, who can currently be seen in Second Stage Theatre's production of Lips Together, Teeth Apart by Terrence McNally, is the latest featured artist in The Creative Faces Project: an evolving portrait and interview collective of artists inspiring the New York Stage. Ms. Chimo is also set to play multiple roles in Wendy Wasserstein's The Heidi Chronicles in its upcoming Broadway run. Ms. Chimo's photos and interview, posted Thursday, October 16th, can be viewed on The Creative Faces Project website: www.thecreativefacesproject.com .

The entries of TONY winner Jefferson Mays (I Am My Own Wife, A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder) and Academy and TONY Award winner Ellen Burstyn (Picnic, The Little Flower of East Orange) will be released in the weeks that follow. Other artists, who are currently waiting in the wings, will be announced in the coming month.

"Tracee is a quintessential New York actress. She works in multiple mediums but truly comes alive on stage. When I had the opportunity to collaborate with her on this project (after spontaneously bumping into her outside of the Delacorte Theater this summer and handing her a card) I realized that the intense and vibrant spontaneity that makes her performances so thrilling to watch is truly an essential part of her as a person. That spark is completely genuine. She was incredibly warm, aware and 100% in the moment. She showed up with two throw pillows from Pier One and no make-up. No frills, just herself. I loved the 20 + minutes that I got to spend with her and cannot wait for the work she has lined up this year!" -Jason Zeren: Photographer and Curator of The Creative Faces Project
