Based on the 1888 classic by August Strinberg, Odeum presents Patrick Marber's retelling of an evening in the life of the upper class Miss Julie, set in 1945 England. After begging off of a trip to visit family with her powerful father, Miss Julie finds herself amid the festivities of her family’s servants during their annual midsummer party. Relieved to escape the pressures of high society, Miss Julie mingles among the servants and finds herself drawn to one in particular: the unusually well-read and well-mannered senior servant, Jean. The two quickly find themselves struggling to navigate physical attraction, class barriers, gender inequality, and social paradigms in a twisting, turning battle of love, lust, will, and wit. Location: Tulsa Performing Arts Center.

AFTER MISS JULIE will be directed by Billie Sue Thompson, and feature Cassie Hollis, Sara Cruncleton, and Will Carpenter.
