Second Generation Theatre rounds out its fourth season with the Western New York premiere of ?? DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS. The show runs Thursday June 9- Sunday June 26th at the Lancaster Opera House.

Two con men meet on a train and decide to work together to swindle women, only to find that the small town on the French Riviera isn't big enough for the two of them. They agree on a settlement: the first one to extract $50,000 from a young heiress wins, and the other must leave town. A hilarious battle of cons ensues that will keep audiences laughing, humming and guessing to the end! Sophisticated, suave with a good dash of mischief, this hysterical comedy features a delightfully jazzy score by David Yazbek (The Full Monty) and was nominated for 11 TONY Awards.

"If this show ends up being half as much fun to watch as it is to work on the audience is in for a real treat," says Amy Jakiel who stars as Christine. "Second Generation has assembled a cast that is equal parts fun and talented which has made the rehearsal process a blast. It's an exciting challenge to try and keep up with a show that has so many twists and turns and moves at an incredibly fast pace but this crew is certainly up to the task!"

Dirty Rotten Scoundrels is directed by Lisa Ludwig, choreographed by Bobby Cooke with music direction by Allan Paglia. The production stars: Jake Albarella (Freddy), Peter Palmisano (Lawrence), Gregory Gjurich (Andre), Mary Gjurich (Muriel), Amy Jakiel (Christine), Arianne Davidow (Jolene) with Sean Murphy, Emily Prucha, Sean Ryan, Jon Yepez, Dan Urtz, Shelby Ehrenreich, and Chloe Barg.
