Road Less Traveled Productions has announced its 2014-15 Season to Buffalo theatergoers! Featuring five full theatrical productions, this season will include original work as well as Western New York premieres of work never before produced in the Buffalo area. RLTP's 11th season will include:

Deathtrap by Ira Levin
Directed by Scott Behrend
Sept. 12th, 2014 - Oct. 12th, 2014

Sydney Bruhl hopes to forge a collaborative partnership with promising young fellow playwright Clifford Anderson... or, failing that, to knock off his would-be protégé and appropriate Clifford's ingenious manuscript (titled "Deathtrap") for his own purposes. As the title suggests, a trap has been set - but for whom, exactly, and by whom? Deathtrap is a multilayered whodunit, a sharp-tongued farce... and a real scream.

The Santaland Diaries by David Sedaris & Joe Mantello
Directed by Doug Weyand
Dec. 4th, 2014 - Dec. 14th, 2014

RLTP launches a new Yuletide tradition with this modern holiday favorite, infamous from its annual rotation on National Public Radio's "This American Life". Follow one man's epic journey from an aimless existence as a snarky New York layabout to a promising and only semi-humiliating seasonal career as a Macy's department store elf.

A Public Reading Of An Unproduced Screenplay About the Death of Walt Disney by Lucas Hnath
Directed by Katie Mallinson
A WNY Premiere
Jan. 23rd, 2015 - Feb. 15th, 2015

Meet Walt Disney - violent, virulent, and desperate for immortality. Join him and his long-suffering brother Roy as they stage a table read of the screenplay that will set the record straight once and for all about Walt's dreams of founding the Happiest Place On Earth (a city where problems don't exist, or at least are whisked promptly out of sight) and his status as "one of the most important people who ever lived."

After America: Wasteland 2015 by Jon Elston
Directed by Scott Behrend
An RLTP World Premiere
March 13th, 2015 - April 5th, 2015

Four mismatched survivors in a ravaged WNY landscape must band together to overcome their differences and save what's left of life on Earth... or die trying at the hands of renegade mutants and ravenous zombies! Playwright Jon Elston is your tour guide on a wild journey through SciFi/Fantasy/Action/Adventure/Thriller terrain with a few pit-stops at Political Satire.

Water by the Spoonful by Quiara Alegria Huedes
Directed by Scott Behrend
2012 Pulitzer Prize Winner - A WNY Premiere
May 1st, 2015 - May 24th, 2015

Odessa Ortiz aka "Haikumom" has carefully constructed a safe haven for recovering drug addicts like herself: an online chatroom where members can support each other in anonymity. This Pulitzer Prize winning play examines the myriad indelible ways that these solitary human lives converge - intentionally and unexpectedly, disastrously and beautifully. Its title serves as the play's unifying metaphor: the agonizingly slow yet vitally essential process of survival and redemption.
