Janine Mercandetti: Out of Costume will perform at the 2016 First Niagara Rochester Fringe Festival (Thursday, Sept. 15 - Saturday, Sept. 24) on Tuesday, September 20 at 7:00 pm and Saturday, September 24 at 5:00 pm. at Blackfriars Theatre (795 East Main Street Rochester, NY 14605). Tickets are $15.00 at rochesterfringe.com, where more information is also available. Remaining tickets will be available at the door starting one hour before curtain.

You know her from past Fringes as CITY Newspaper's 2013 & 2014 Best of Fest Broadway Belter pick. This year, one of the area's most versatile acting and vocal powerhouse performers is getting "out of costume" for an hour of songs and stories that will rock your Fringe world. From classics to contemporary, and - of course - a belt or two from Broadway, unwind with this charming and captivating reflection on life's quick changes and wardrobe malfunctions. Expect the unexpected with Janine Mercandetti - out of costume!

Janine Mercandetti: Out of Costume made its world-premiere at JCC CenterStage last December to rave reviews. The show is directed by Broadway star MaryJayne Waddell with Musical Direction by Brian Clickner. Kevin Lieb will accompany on piano.
