As of this week, Boston area comedy fans have even more Friday night options! ImprovBoston has announced a new rotating lineup of Friday night improv shows that have a little something for everyone.

Whether you enjoy a good game of Magic: The Gathering, short-form games and challenges, or sharp pop culture satire, you'll love ImprovBoston's latest roster of Friday shows.

First Fridays of the month
Magic: The Gathering: The Show
Two great and powerful wizards are created before your eyes and then do battle! By playing the popular fantasy card game Magic: The Gathering, they enlist creatures of good-angels, elves, mermaids- and creatures of evil-goblins, trolls, tax collectors-to battle one another in a proxy war.

Second Fridays of the month
Game. Set. Match.
The ImprovBoston National Touring Company competes for your delight in this improvised show where the fate of each player, and the show, in your hands. Boston's best improvisers are put through their paces in games, challenges, quizzes and whatever else we dream up.

Third Fridays of the Month
True Defective
Your favorite gritty HBO crime drama (for at least a season) is now an improvised comedy at ImprovBoston. Watch our detectives solve a grisly string of murders: piecing together clues, questioning the locals, and chasing suspects, all while wrestling with their own inner demons. It's all improvised - including dark music to set the mood.
