Franklin Performing Arts Company (FPAC) has received Honorable Mention recognition from the New England Theatre Conference (NETC) 53rd Annual Moss Hart Awards for FPAC's 2014 production of Peter Pan. Presented at the 64th annual NETC Convention, the 2015 Moss Hart Awards honored six productions from across New England. FPAC's high-flying Peter Pan launched the company's premiere year at THE BLACK BOX, FPAC's new home and performance venue in downtown Franklin. FPAC's production of the timeless family musical was presented with live professional orchestra and the spectacular aerial effects of Flying By Foy.

In honoring FPAC, the Moss Hart Memorial Award Committee stated, "Congratulations to Franklin in their 25th year for creatively mounting a spectacular musical in a black box theater. The performance, the set and especially the flying left adults as well as children enthralled." This is the second time FPAC has been recognized by the NETC, having been awarded an Honorable Mention for West Side Story by the 2004 Moss Hart Awards.

Founded in 1991, the nonprofit, community-based FPAC brings together professional artists, amateur performers and students of the arts in a collaborative and creative environment. With a special focus on youth development and a commitment to live music, FPAC supports educational arts experiences, quality entertainment and outstanding performance opportunities.
