Summer theater rehearsals are in full swing for Weston Drama Workshop's 54th season, with opening night occurring on Thursday, July 14th. With five shows and 22 performances, Weston Drama Workshop offers something for everyone, following its decades-long tradition of providing the MetroWest community with quality youth theater.

WDW's younger ensemble, artists aged 10-14, will perform the magical Broadway revival version of Rodger's and Hammerstein's Cinderella. A smaller group, also aged 10-14, will hold two public performances of Lilly's Purple Plastic Purse. This show is a Theatre for Young Audiences production that will otherwise travel in the community, performing at local senior homes and camps.

Older actors, ages 14-23, will perform two main stage musicals and one black box play. Explore the life of Eva Peron in Evita, featuring a Children's Chorus; see the spectacle of Pippin; and enjoy one of Shakespeare's most famous works in The Tempest.

Weston Drama Workshop performs at Regis College's beautiful Fine Arts Center in Weston, Massachusetts. Tickets are available online, at the door, or you may reserve them by calling the box office at 781-768-7070.
