The Empty Boat Theatre Company is proud to announce its partnership with Treefort 2017 in bringing back to the stage its original hit play/musical hybrid "There's Chinese Tunnels Under Boise!" to run twice a day for the duration of the Treefort Music Fest at Boise Contemporary Theater.

The Treefort 2017 "Chinese Tunnels" revival tells the same story as The Empty Boat presented in 2012 at the WaterCooler, but now features an updated script and a new cast member. Original actors Dwayne Blackaller (Dwayne) and John Adkins (John), both of Boise Contemporary Theater, and NICK GARCIA (Nate) are now joined by Empty Boat
co-founder Hollis Welsh as Lina (Nick is the other co-founder).

The play runs March 22-26, Wednesday through Sunday at 1 pm and 9 pm at BCT in downtown Boise. Tickets are $20 and available at TheEmptyBoat.org. Pre-purchasing is encouraged as a limited number of seats will be held for Treefort Pass holders. A limited number of tickets will be available at the door for each show.
