Since the holidays are fast approaching, I just wanted to see what holiday shows/projects people were doing.
I just got cast in URINETOWN, THE MUSICAL that starts rehearsals in December and performs in January. I also have a church gig every Sunday morning I (as most musicians do) and during Christmas is where we do more masses. I might be doing an opera in November, but I have to confirm that tomorrow.
i just finished "a streetcar named desire" and now i'm working on "the crucible" until november...... after that i'm looking to just train for a little while, and then go back to hardcore auditioning, but i'm most likely looking at a few showcases in coming months
I'm probably going to be auditioning for a production of A Christmas Carol.

I chose, and my world was shaken- So what? The choice may have been mistaken,
The choosing was not...
"Every day has the potential to be the greatest day of your life." - Lin-Manuel Miranda
"And when Idina Menzel is singing, I'm always slightly worried that her teeth are going to jump out of her mouth and chase me." - Schmerg_the_Impaler
I'm currently in Forbidden NYU (like Forbidden Broadway) with performances at the end of October.
"In theater, the process of it is the experience. Everyone goes through the process, and everyone has the experience together. It doesn't last - only in people's memories and in their hearts. That's the beauty and sadness of it. But that's life - beauty and the sadness. And that is why theater is life." - Sherie Rene Scott
A small role in an upcoming film being made in my area, Smart People, starring Dennis Quaid and Rachel Weisz. They'll be doing it November 6 through December 22.
I am doing "Gypsy" oobway here in nyc.. I am a toreadorable/hollywood blonde/christmas stripper. The cast is wonderfully talented and I am grateful to be apart of the show.
I'm finishing up with run-out performances for the production of "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown" that I was just in. After that, I don't have anything coming up until the spring. I plan on auditioning for "As the World Goes Round" in March.
"You're the worst thing to happen to musical theatre since Andrew Lloyd Webber!" --Family Guy
"Shut up! It's been 29 years!!!" --the incomparable Patti LuPone in her MUCH DESERVED Tony acceptance speech for Gypsy.
Kitzy's Avatar du Jour: Kitzy as Little Red Ridinghood in her college's production of "Into the Woods"
Christmas Carol is not happening. So, I am showless right now.

I'm doing a musical revue to benefit BC/EFA in November (come and support, everyone!! Nov. 11th at 3 and 8 in the Shorin Performance Space, NYU's Kimmel Center!) and Cabaret in December. Then I graduate.
I'm doing a show with my improv group in November, which should be fantastic, and I'll be in South Pacific starting (probably) in March. Between the two shows it's either Urinetown or Greater Tuna. So it's a full schedule, but I adore being part of a show.
"Writing should be easy, like a monkey driving a speedboat..." -[title of show]
"I'm tired of following my dreams. I'm just going to ask them where they're going and meet up with them later." -Mitch Hedberg
