I've heard a lot of rumors that there's some new project in the making from Diane Paulus to join the ART season this year, who is noticeably absent in their season line-up so far. The project is supposedly top secret. I've heard it's being kept so under the radar that some ART staff members aren't allowed to know what it is yet, but the rumors are it's their new offering to the broadway season next spring. Any ideas what it could be?
considering that every show she does aspires to Broadway, this is really saying very little.
of course, as we know, not every aspiration comes to fruition. ART does not have the ability to dump a show on Broadway automatically the way LCT, RTC, MTC and (someday) 2ST do.

That's super helpful... not. Would be nice to know where you're hearing or reading these "rumors."
I knew it. It's the scaled down revival of GYPSY we've all been waiting for!!! Can't wait. I've heard it's taking the Lyceum this Spring.
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.
Found this on Stacey Mindich's website and it mentions Diane Paulus. Could this be it? (Forgive me if I'm mistaken/this is old news/irrelevant).
"it is a story making its way to the stage as a musical, helmed by Tony Award-winning director Diane Paulus and written by acclaimed playwright Lisa D’Amour."
