Jonathan Groff opens up about filming sex scenes for 'Looking'; how 'Spring Awakening' changed him and inspired him to come out, and who's been his favorite celebrity visitor at 'Hamilton.'
I was mostly kidding, but I wasn't blaming Groff. The publication has a way of handling such things by putting the last name in brackets or parentheses the first time she is mentioned.
Yeah it was a public talk to fans so I assume everyone there knew who he meant--but I agree with you that they prob could have put her name in brackets... Of course they also wrote Kate here (maybe they've fixed it since.)
haha Sorry! It's funny, I havent heard anyone say just Lea since she had her big break in Glee, but now that she's in Scream Queens I've seen some people use it. She still has a long way to be just Lea... (but in her mind she probably thinks of herself whenever she sees the letter L).
If you're a fan of Deaf West's 'Spring Awakening,' like Jonathan Groff is, here's a reminder: The cast will perform several songs on Wed., Nov. 18, at the White House. It's part of a conference on 'Americans With Disabilities and the Arts: A Celebration of Diversity and Inclusion.' It'll be live-streamed from 4-7 p.m., EST, at www.whitehouse.gov/live. And the cast will be on NBC's 'Late Night With Seth Meyers' on Mon., Nov. 23. Check your local times.
Very nice article. Saw him in "Spring Awakening" and "Hamilton" and he is excellent. He was very nice to my daughters years ago at stage door line for "Spring Awakening" on a very cold night.
The sexy Jonathon Groff is giving an awesome interview and all you people talk about is Lea Michelle's last name?! Ugh. Where's Phyllis? He knows whats up

And all you have to talk about is my post on the subject?
What did I do, Hamilton22? I never even planned on posting in this thread.
I would havevasked Jonathan Groff whose choice its was to have his Looking character be played as though he was someone who had sustained a traumatic brain injury.
