Monday night March 9th 54 Below featured "Side Show: Added Attractions" a reunion concert hosted by Bill Russel (book & lyrics) and a majority of the original cast of the revival. During the performance Bill announced that both the 7:00 and 9:30 performances were being recorded for release on a new CD May 12, 2015.
Side Show: Added Attractions - Live at 54 BELOW $10.99
The description on the website (link below) is: The critically acclaimed cast of the Broadway musical revival SIDE SHOW re-united at 54 BELOW, the famed performance venue in New York City. The concert performed included never-before-heard material such as cut songs, extended versions of familiar hits, and additional fun surprises for only those in attendance. This special once-in-a-lifetime LIVE event has been preserved on this brand new album as a fitting companion to the Original 2014 Broadway Cast Recording, also available from Broadway Records. You won't believe your ears... it will never leave you.
I did attend the 7:00 performance. Henry Krieger (composer) played and sang one song. Erin and Emily performed one number in opposite roles. David St. Louis blew the Devil You Know out of the park as usual. Ryan Silverman (Terry) and Matthew Hydzik (Buddy) sang a mashup with Erin and Emily. While the girls sang a song from the revival...the guys sang the song from the original production that was replaced by it.
After the 7:00 show (in the limited time as people were exiting and milling about before the 9:30 crowd was brought in) the cast and creative team were available to meet, greet and sign CDs. Many people were quickly making their rounds to collect signatures. All of the performers were genuinely excited and welcoming to be available to say hi to everyone and sign. It was a real fun fan night. Many thanks to the performers and those who put this together!

ATTENTION FANS: I will be played by James Barbour in the upcoming musical, "BroadwayWorld: The Musical."
Last night my husband Bill Russell hosted SIDE SHOW - Added Attractions, featuring all the principals and many of the ensemble from the 2014 SIDE SHOW revisal. It was a packed house for both shows and, I have to say, incredibly moving, fun and surprising!

thanks for the set list Bruce! I am horrible at trying to remember the details like this. I am more in the moment enjoying what is going on rather than transcribing the events to dictate later. Was a great night!!!

I might've posted this in another thread about Erin or Side Show, but I can't remember, and it's a pretty great piece, so I wanted to share (again?) for those who are interested. Some friends of mine are behind this new website, and they have a wonderfully in-depth interview with Erin about Side Show, amongst many other things: http://the-interval.com/ints/ed/
So happy I was there to experience this in the flesh! Highlight was definitely the Ready to Play mash up. Ryan and Matt's facial expressions were priceless, gif worthy even.
