So, I know that there have been various debates regarding what characters should and should or shouldn't have an alternate when it comes to musicals. Discussions like whether or not the actress playing Elphaba should have one or not etc.
But, I was wondering what the decision process was to have an alternate in Curious Incident? It seems, at least in my experience, I've only seen alternates in musicals rather than in plays so was wondering if anyone knows why they have one.
It's an incredibly demanding role. THAT'S the thought process.
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?
These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.
