Saw Dame Edna's Glorious Goodbye at the Ahmanson yesterday. Saw all of her prior tours, but I honestly don't remember laughing this hard and this consistently in a theatre before. Perhaps only during one of Eddie Izzard's early tours. She had us in the palm of her hands. My friends and I were commenting that our cheeks were literally sore from laughing so much. This kind of experience is just good for the soul. It is a shame that she's not closing the tour on Broadway. I blame that ill advised Michael Feinstein show for her absence this time.
