I like it.
Especially her eyes.
I had no real interest in this movie (although I'm sure I'll see it when it finally comes out) but she looks great. Great enough to get me a little excited.

I too wish there were various colors in her design, but really, what else should we expect from Zac "I love muted drab colors" Snyder?
Personally, I'm surprised she doesn't have skulls for breast plates and holding a severed head in her hand.

Gal is a pretty average name in Israel, Borstal. I know a Gali and a Galit there. Then again, they are both in the Millennial age group...hm... :P
The all-drab uniform is making me eyeroll so hard. DC just won't stop doubling down on the dark n' gritty, will it?

I have to say, with the exception of the recent Captain America, who made fun of but then embraced his All-American wardrobe, filmmakers are quick to neutralize the red-white-and-blue in others.
An anti-American backlash?
Fear of fanatical, flag-waving Tea Party connotations?
Worried about international box office receipts and a growing animosity toward "America!"
I wonder.

I see it as a change in the medium over time. The original comics adopted the vibrant and flamboyant costumes for two major reasons:
1. Limited color palette in early printing.
2. The tropes of superhero costumes- spandex jumpsuits and capes for men, colorful leotards for women- were inspired by the outfits worn by early professional wrestlers in the dawn of "character wrestling." Even today, it's not uncommon for male wrestlers in particular to make their entrance into the ring in a cape, and spandex jumpsuits only went out of fashion for wrestlers relatively recently- the Hulk Hogan era still made use of them frequently.
The DC superheroes, however, are nearing a hundred years old. As far as intellectual property goes, they've passed through more hands and more creative reimaginings than any other character outside the public domain, but the archaic symbolism of the Depression era still remains. It's only natural that people would experiment with changing that up, seeing how far they can take the character's signature looks before they become no longer that character.

Posted: 7/28/14 at 1:45pmWonder Woman in the greek leather skirt-type outfit is nothing new, especially in the comics. Other than the color, it doesn't really look like Xena's costume. In addition, her appearance will likely only be an extended cameo so the lack of the red and blue could just be because she is not yet fully in her ambassador role. Likewise, we now know that Batman has more than one outfit in the film. Perhaps WW will too.
