Did anybody have any luck? I've been refreshing the ticket master page since tickets went on sale and nothing! Any tips or tricks from people who have purchased before?
Same here regarding what Jingjo said regarding the timing. Got mine at 8:05 (TX time) ... I just made the mistake of not choosing Chase preferred seating so I'm in the last row of the 2nd mezz. BUT, excited to have a ticket no matter the location.
I logged on at 9:08 and it seemed that they only had seats left in the third mezzanine. I snagged two--much better than nothing, and I'm very excited to attend this year!
So strange. I went on exactly at 9 and nothing was available. When I last checked about a half hour ago, it said there was a few tickets left but wouldn't let me purchase them. Bummer!
Sometimes when a few are left, you aren't using the right card/code to buy them. Like if there's a Chase preferred seat, and you're not using Chase, etc.
Nope, it says there are a few left when you are on the ticket master page, but when you click to purchase, there are none left in ANY category- including wheelchair seats, chase members, etc. I don't even get a chance to put in a code or anything. I'm wondering if perhaps they haven't released all of the tickets yet?
One of my biggest dreams is to attend the Tony Awards one year. I'll wait until a dear friend of mine is back on stage and nominated. That will be the year to go! :)
"Mr Sondheim, look: I made a hat, where there never was a hat, it's a Latin hat at that!"
I checked at 9 and there was nothing - kept telling me to try again. I tried on and off until about 11 and then was told there were no tickets available. Ugh. Oh well. Maybe next year.
Edit: just looked again. couldn't get 2 tickets together, they had 1 in the second mezzanine for $517! yikes!!!! Didn't buy it but are all tickets that expensive? I thought prices would be cheaper the higher / further back your seats were?

I followed the link from twitter. To attend the Tony's is one of my 5 things to do before I die, however as I live in Scotland and so so unlikely, but a man can dream. Well, I managed to locate a ticket for €517 and had 2 minutes to buy.......the clock ticked down and down, but alas impossible. Back to my dreaming, but 1 day I will get there- watch out red carpet here I come!,
All of the tickets are a bit nutty as far as price. I have no desire to go, but I know those are the prices. The worst seats in the house are pretty expensive. I rarely like going to anything that is a TV taping, since it is all directed at the cameras anyway, so better to stay home and enjoy it for free. OK, maybe 54 Below...
