That's a pretty classy remark, Mark-O.. As for why now, perhaps the upcoming release of her documentary has something to do with it.

Ah ha ha ha haaa! Elaine Stritch, God bless her, just dropped the F-bomb on Kathy Lee and Hoda live on the air. Apparently, the censors didn't think they needed a to have their hands on the bleeper for a lovely 89 yr old gal. Ha!
Can't wait to see the full interview once it's online.
