Posted: 7/22/13 at 4:00pmEver since her tony win I know I haven't heard much of what she's up to. Is she filing anything? Does she have any works in progress? I know she was a part of the reading for the into the woods movie but I don't think she's been attached to the film. Just curious what she's up to I want to see more of her work!

She was announced for several films (including the Janis Joplin biopic and Fellini Black and White), and I know she was filming Rob the Mob with Michael Pitt a few months ago. Oh, and she was working on The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby: His and Hers. So she's busy with film work, but I hope she comes back to Broadway soon.
When I see the phrase "the ____ estate", I imagine a vast mansion in the country full of monocled men and high-collared women receiving letters about productions across the country and doing spit-takes at whatever they contain.

Posted: 7/22/13 at 4:15pmI feel the Janis Joplin project is cursed, there have been so many actresses attached to it. I hope it doesn't go the way of the Liza Minnelli movie that was supposed to star Jane Krakowski, and later, Zooey Deschanel (who was also attached to the Joplin project). I just saw Arianda in MIDNIGHT IN PARIS again recently and was reminded of what an out of the world wonderful actress she is, can't wait to see what she does next.

I hope it doesn't go the way of the Liza Minnelli movie that was supposed to star Jane Krakowski
It wasn't a film bio on Liza Minnelli but one on Halston. Krakowski was announced to appear in the film as Liza.

Posted: 7/22/13 at 5:28pmBrody, I thought it was supposed to be a two-hander (about Halston and Minnelli), but thanks for the correction. Either way, I remember being ridiculously excited at the time that Krakowski would play Liza...and then the film never happened.
