RobbieJ - You do realize that being a fan of Glee is now something you share with the Westboro klan. Well, that and lots and lots and LOTS of really slutty gay sex.

I enjoyed the first half and had hope, but then rolled my eyes through the second, esp the ending.

I'm naturally very protective of all Grease songs, but I thought it was cutely done.

They put Matt in a black wifebeater!!!!! I need to get a good screenshot to put it in my file with the others.

And loved Emma's new pamplets "So You're a Spinster"

I thought the episode had nice moments and cheesy moments and then I wanted to strangle Finn for completely misreading the situation, which means this was actually an on point episode of Glee for me.

I LOVED Helen Mirren as Becky's inner-voice. I thought it would be distracting but the final part and her breakdown after Artie turned her down was very well-done.

I was not expecting that bit of information regarding Finn's father. I think the show was making up for the retcon timelines because I think if Finn were two years older the whole 'Dad died heroically in the first Gulf War' would have made a bit more sense (though even in the pilot Finn was clueless as to what conflict he father even fought in). Great work by Romy Rosemount as the mother in those scenes, who seemed way too absent last season.

I too thought it was a mix of cheesiness and goodness last night. For me, all the musical numbers were spot-on. I think my favorite was all the couples sharing moments while Rachel sang "Without You."
The part about Finn's dad- did not see that coming. I thought it gave a chance for depth in a generally goofy, easygoing character. As far as his proposal goes, i think Rachel should accept BUT as more of a promise for someday. Yes they're soul mates but they're too young and need to achieve their own dreams first.

I just finished watching it. I can't watch on Tuesdays when it starts anymore because I have something that lasts through June now.

I agree, some of it was good, and some was really cheesy. Fortunately, I do like cheesy sometimes. I'm just not a fan of Artie singing at all, but I did kind of like the mashup. Maybe it was Will's dancing that made it better.

The best scene in this episode for me was Will asking Finn to be his best man, Finn looked so thrilled and so happy. Oh and I thought it was hysterical that Santana called Becky "a manipulative bitch" lol

Did anyone else actually find it a little creepy that Will asked a student to be his best man? I dunno, it just rubs me as a little weird and inappropriate.

They coulda just created a little brother or whatever and just leave it at that. I wonder if Debra Monk and Victor Garber will return as his parents?

The MJ songs have come out, the "Wanna Be Startin' Somethin'" was okay, not among my favorite MJ tracks. "Smooth Criminal", however, is my new obsession. Dueling, destructive cellos!

Glad Grant Gustin got a song. "Uptown Girl" was not a good showcase (He's sort of bizarro Darren, I think his voice is not made for accapella) and any duet that involves Naya Rivera is helped immensely.

The Bomer casting goes with my theory that half of the Glee guest stars are from people Ryan has previously worked with or about to do a project with.

Those two cellists have been doing the rounds with Smooth Criminal for years now, I think they're from Croatia - great to see them get a big break on Glee!

Edit - well they performed it on Ellen 9 months ago, but I'm sure I saw them somewhere before that too...though maybe I'm just drunk.

This is very desperate if you ask me.

"EW has confirmed reports that Lindsay Lohan is in talks for a guest spot on the show.

Lohan, who was reportedly steamed after Gwyneth Paltrow’s Holly Holliday made a crack about her on an episode last season, has apparently decided to turn the other cheek and would play herself on the Fox hit, as a celebrity judge for the Nationals competition. (The news was first reported by TVLine.)"

Hey producers of Glee:

trains from Ohio don't come into Grand Central Terminal. GCT is only for commuter trains.

The episodes got a little better though there were cringe-worthy moments such as Rachel getting prom queen through ballot anarchy and the Coach Bieste is a beaten woman story-line. That was off-set by great moments like "Paradise by the Dashboard Light" number which was one of the best things they have ever done. Not sure who is going to leave for good and how they are trying to incorporate the 'younger' characters but it was wrapped up a lot nicer than I expected after where this season was going. Still the fan-servicing of making sure Rachel is amazing and making Quinn unlikable even in her plight (unnecessary plight at that) got tiresome (and maybe it is because I am biased since I like Dianna Agron a lot more than Lea Michele).

I basically liked the episode, except they had to ruin the end by making it all about Rachel. I don't think I can stomach episodes next season if she is the focus of like half of them.
