An innovative and uplifting revival of Godspell opens October 14 at the Vagabond Theatre, on Broadway in Fells Point. With music and lyrics by Stephen Swartz and book by John-Michael Tebelak, this popular musical, first produced in 1971, is one of Broadway's longest running shows.

Godspell, a high-spirited and joyous musical, uses the parables of the Gospel according to Matthew to explore themes of love, loyalty and humanity; it really brings people together. This energetic production, directed by Eric Potter, features amazing voices and thrilling songs. Godspell is a family friendly show for all ages and all backgrounds. The intimate Vagabond Theatre is the perfect showcase for this exciting experience.

Godspell runs October 14-November 13: Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00pm; Sundays at 2:00pm.
Vagabond Players Theatre is at 806 S. Broadway.
