Stephen Adly Guirgis brings Den of Thieves to Glass Mind Theater. When an eclectic quartet plans the perfect heist, the ensuing situation asks them: who of the morally ambiguous crew deserves to die? The dark and biting comedy opens Glass Mind's Season 2: Arrivals and Departures.

The versatile Britt Olsen-Ecker, who serves as Glass Mind's company photographer, will direct the piece. "Den of Thieves is a piece of real and raw theatre in a real and raw performance space," says Olsen-Ecker.

"It gives the actors the opportunity to create, explore, and thrive in a community where there are
characters they see every day on the street."

The play is one of Guirgis' earliest works, sparking his longtime look into addiction. The New York
native's first play to hit Broadway, The Motherf***** With the Hat featuring Chris Rock, garnered five Tony Award nominations this year. Guirgis is a member and co-artistic director of LAByrinth Theatre Company. His other works include Our Lady of 121st Street, The Little Flower of East Orange, The Last Days of Judas Iscariot and Jesus Hopped the 'A' Train.

Den of Thieves runs September 16 to September 25 at Load of Fun Theatre (120 West North Avenue, Baltimore), on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Tickets can be purchased at http://gmtden.eventbrite.com.

They are $12, and $8 for artists, students and seniors.
