EVITA, with music by Andrew Lloyd Webber and lyrics by Tim Rice, will be directed by Fuzz Roark with musical direction by Michael Tan at Spotlighters Theatre, April 15 - May 15, 2016.

EVITA tells Eva Peron's passionate and unforgettable true story. Eva used her beauty and charisma to rise meteorically from the slums of Argentina to the presidential mansion as First Lady. Adored by her people as a champion for the poor, she became one of the most powerful women in the world -- while her greed, outsized ambition, and fragile health made her one of the most tragic.

Spotlighters attempts in this production to provide a fuller image of Eva Duarte de Peron, not just as a driven, social climber, but as a woman with a vision and determination. Eva Peron had a quest for the working class, and she knew how to achieve her goals, and provide for her people.
