Baltimore audiences love Katori Hall's magical play The Mountaintop, directed by Kwame Kwei-Armah. One of the highest grossing plays in the theater's 50 year history, CENTERSTAGE is adding an additional performance on Sunday, February 24, at 7:30 pm to accommodate demand. Unfortunately the show must end on February 24 due to scheduling conflicts. Tickets are on sale now for the additional performance at

The Mountaintop finds Dr. King at The Lorraine Hotel on April, 3 1968. As he unwinds and prepares, a visit from a hotel maid offers welcome diversion and a challenging new perspective-but also raises profound and surprising questions.

The Mountaintop, by Katori Hall and directed by Kwame Kwei-Armah, is sponsored by Northrop Grumman, with additional support from Legg Mason and Miles and Stockbridge. Performances run through Sunday, February 24, and tickets can be ordered online at, or by calling 410.332.0033.
