"CAT ON A HOT TIN ROOF" by Tennessee Williams, will open on Friday, November 4, 2011 at 8 PM and run weekends through Sunday, November 27, 2011 at the Load of Fun Complex, 120 West North Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21201. Showtime for Friday and Saturday nights is 8 PM and 3 PM for Sunday matinees.

The Pulitzer Prize-winning show, produced by The Heralds of Hope Theater in conjunction with The Theatrical Mining Company, is deftly directed by veteran director Barry Feinstein.

Feinstein, the recent recipient of the 2011 Baltimore Playwrights Festival Award has elevated this tangled tale of family hypocrisy and greed into the 21st century with fresh insight, creative staging and interracial, yet color-blind casting that heightens many dynamics among the eight well-seasoned performers from the Baltimore/Washington Metropolitan area.

Brimming with sexual frustration, emotional intensity and Williams' insightful wit, "CAT ON A HOT TIN ROOF" is truly an American treasure. Don't miss your chance to catch a bold, new staging of this rich and timeless Southern family portrait!
