90 minutes of raw, unsettling drama comes to the stage at Fells Point Corner Theatre. The fourth show in our acclaimed #RescueMe season is David Harrower's provocative and eruptive, Blackbird.

Directed by Fells Point Corner Theatre's Anthony Lane Hinkle and starring Ann Turiano (last seen in The 39 Steps) and Steven Shriner (last seen in The Divine Sister) Blackbirdhas become a modern classic. The script has gained a reputation of providing powerful performances and asking even more powerful questions.

Una is 27. Ray is 55. 15 years earlier, they were involved in a sexual relationship which ended with criminal charges and Ray being sent to prison. Now he finds himself face to face with his past. This haunting and intense work distills theater down to its most essential elements, delivering a heart-stopping confrontation between one man and one woman, inextricably bound by a shattering and painful past.

Content advisory: Adult language and sexual assault.
