ZACH Theatre has announced its 2013-14 season-the second in the acclaimed new Topfer Theatre-with a lineup of six plays and musicals chosen to build on the dynamic and intimate experiences audiences are enjoying in this spectacular first season.

Dave Steakley, ZACH's producing artistic director for two decades, has created a stunning season that will captivate, provoke, and thrill the theatre's growing audience. The new season begins with Austin's first professional theatre staging of international musical theatre sensationLES MISERABLES. The 2013-14 season will also include two brand-new performance series, TOP Concerts @ ZACH and ZACH's Family Series; and season extras on ZACH's intimate Whisenhunt stage.

In ZACH's last two seasons, subscription revenue has grown by 89 percent and single ticket revenue has grown by 60 percent. During the same time period, contributions from individuals have grown by 64 percent.

Step in Gepetto's workshop in this imaginative retelling of an ageless classic! With puppetry, shadow and illusion, a simple carpenter transforms his workshop into a fantastic quest of a puppet trying to be a real boy. But will the all-too-tempting delights of the outside world be too much for Pinocchio? When Geppetto is swallowed by a whale, it is up to this little puppet to show his courage in this story of love, family and adventure.
