Arlo Guthrie Family Reunion Tour Plays The Lyric 3/15 & 3/16
You might say that music is in the Guthrie family blood. Beginning with Woody's classics, including the anthem "This Land is Your Land," through decades of Arlo's hits, such as "City of New Orleans," the Guthries have created music that has earned its place in the American songbook.
Now, four generations of Guthrie talent are taking to the stage in the "Guthrie Family Rides Again," performing songs they've written, learned together and come to love.
Along with Arlo's standards, the evening will include a selection of unpublished Woody Guthrie lyrics put to music by friends and family. (Woody himself will even join in, thanks to newly found recordings from The Woody Guthrie Archives.)
Over the last 40 years, Arlo Guthrie has shared timeless stories and unforgettable songs with audiences around the globe. In the "Guthrie Family Rides Again," he will be joined by his children Abe, Cathy, Annie and Sarah Lee, son-in-law Johnny Irion and the youngest generation of Guthrie kids.
March 15 & 16 at 7:00PM.
