La Mirada Theatre For The Performing Arts and McCoy Rigby Entertainment are thrilled to announce their most "practically perfect" 2014- 2015 season of shows! Beginning with David Lindsay-Abaire's Tony Award-winning Good People; followed by our favorite Sister returning in Late Nite Catechism Las Vegas: Sister Rolls The Dice; then three extraordinary musical experiences beginning with the 10-time Tony Award-winning Billy Elliot; the World Premiere engagement of Jane Austen's Pride And Prejudice: A Musical; and finally the high-flying, Tony Award-Winning, Mary Poppins! From the Writer of Last Season's Rabbit Hole comes the Tony Award-Winning GOOD PEOPLE, written by David Lindsay-Abaire and directed by Jeff Maynard. Good People will run September 19 - October 12, 2014.

In South Boston, this month's paycheck covers last month's bills, bingo is a night on the town, and sharp- tongued single-mom Margie Walsh has just been let go from yet another job. Scrambling to make ends meet, she looks up an old flame, hoping he'll help her make a fresh start in this humor-filled drama from Pulitzer Prize- winner David Lindsay-Abaire about how twists of fate determine our path. Good People contains mature language and themes.

LATE NITE CATECHISM Las Vegas: SISTER ROLLS THE DICE, written by Maripat Donovan and directed by Marc Silvia, will run October 24 - November 16, 2014.

Late Nite Catechism Las Vegas: Sister Rolls the Dice is the latest class in the sinfully funny Catechism series. The church needs a new roof, so Father Murphy has decided that Sister, with her extensive gambling experience running the church Bingo for the last 25 years, will organize a Las Vegas night! Sister will tackle topics ranging from Magicians to Show Girls. Don't forget: "What happens in Vegas may stay in Vegas," but God sees everything!

Winner of 10 Tony Awards Including Best Musical, BILLY ELLIOT, will come to La Mirada Theatre January 16 - February 8, 2015. Billy Elliot features book and lyrics by Lee Hall and Elton John, music by Elton John, choreography by Dana Solimando, and is directed by Brian Kite.

This is Billy Elliot The Musical the spectacular show with the heart, humor, and passion to be named Time Magazine's "Best Musical of the Decade!" In a World Premiere engagement, Jane Austen's PRIDE AND PREJUDICE, A Musical, will run April 17 - May 10, 2015. Pride and Prejudice features book, music and lyrics by Lindsay Warren Baker and Amanda Jacobs, choreography by Jeffrey Denman, and is directed by Igor Goldin

In this musical, which was the runaway hit of the New York Musical Theatre festival, the love story of Elizabeth Bennet and Mr. Darcy comes to life when Jane Austen and her sister Cassandra revisit "First Impressions," an earlier version of the beloved novel. As Austen makes changes, the Austen sisters must learn to see both the story and each other in a new light.

MARY POPPINS, co-created by Cameron Mackintosh with original music and lyrics by Richard M. Sherman and Robert B. Sherman, book by Julian Fellowes, new songs and additional music and lyrics by George Stiles and Anthony Drewe, choreography by Dan Mojica, and direction by Glenn Casale, will run May 29 - June 21, 2015.

Based on the books by P.L. Travers and the classic Walt Disney film, Mary Poppins includes a score filled with timeless classics such as "Feed the Birds," "Jolly Holiday," "Step in Time" and the Academy Award®-winning "Chim-Chim Cher-ee". The jack-of-all trades, Bert, introduces us to England in 1910 and the troubled Banks family. Young Jane and Michael have sent many a nanny packing before Mary Poppins arrives on their doorstep. Using a combination of magic and common sense, she must teach the family how to value each other again. Mary Poppins delighted Broadway audiences for over 2,500 performances and received nominations for nine Olivier and seven Tony® awards including Best Musical.

In a brand new, Los Angeles premiere with music by Academy Award winner Michael Gore, lyrics by Academy Award winner Dean Pitchford, book by Lawrence D. Cohen, and directed by Brady Schwind, CARRIE THE MUSICAL, will come to La Mirada March 12 - April 5, 2015.

Here's a star-studded evening for the family you won't ever forget.

The Nashville native gained a reputation for creating potent songs that examined life's complexities with an open heart and keen eye.
