Wagner College Theatre closes its 2015-16 Stage One season with The Dance Project 2016: Do You Think You Can Dance? -Wagner's own version of the popular TV dance competition.

The production features faculty and student choreography with special guest judges of Wagner faculty, students, staff, and alumni. The panel of judges along with audience voting will determine a nightly as well as an overall winner.

The choreography is by faculty members Ashley Delane Burger, Michael Blackmon, Mary Six Rupert, and Rusty Curcio with student choreography by Jacob Cowan '17, Nick Mestakides '16, and Jason Rath '16.

Dancing and competing are WCT Performance majors Kolten Bell, Jasmine Canziani, Ryan Garbee, Katelyn Norman, Kristine Palka, Jesse Pimpinella, Natalie Schaffer, and Joshua Sottile with April Lillard serving as the company swing.

The evening is hosted by Taylor Baskin and Greg Ippolito, who will interview the dancers and judges.

The creative team includes: Sophia Adsit (sets), Marissa Crowe (lights), Alan Michael Smith and Nick Mestakides (costumes). Santa Hirsch and Jazmine Minner are assistant stage managers. Kellian Frank is production stage manager. WCT's Head of Dance Rusty Curcio is producing the work with assistance from Julia Weber '16.

Performances of The Dance Project 2016 are Tuesday through Saturday at 8pm, with matinees Saturday and Sunday at 2pm.

For tickets, call the Box Office at 718-390-3259. Box Office hours are Monday through Friday 12:00-4:00pm. Single tickets $10, are on sale now. Wagner College students attend free with current ID.
