Kieran Turner (Creator; Writer/Director): Writer/Producer/Director of the acclaimed documentary Jobriath A.D., which chronicles the life of '70s glam rock musician Jobriath, the first openly gay rock star. The award-winning film has played in over 50 festivals worldwide and will be released theatrically later this year. Turner attended NYU receiving both a BFA and MFA in filmmaking from the Tisch School of the Arts. His first feature film, 24 Nights, which he wrote, produced and directed, was made as his graduate thesis, but took on a life of its own on the film festival circuit, playing in over 60 festivals worldwide and winning seven audience awards. The film was picked up for distribution by TLA Releasing and, due to increasing word of mouth popularity, has been a perennial seller for the company since its release.
