Cinema Diverse: The Palm Springs LGBTQ Film Festival, opens its Eighth Edition on Thursday, September 17th and runs through Sunday, September 20th at the Camelot Theatres in Palm Springs. This year the festival is a third larger than ever before, and includes a New Media Spotlight on Saturday, September 19th.?? Chairman David Stoller (Executive Chairman of Reach4Entertainment) and President and Executive Producer Ondine Landa Abramson have announced the launch of STAGE17, a new digital platform that specializes in original and curated entertainment for the world's largest stage -- the Internet. Landa Abramson and some of her team will unveil a Beta version of the platform at SXSW, with a New York City launch planned shortly thereafter. Visitors can sign up at STAGE17.tv for a preview of the inaugural season and early access to the Beta when it is released.

WALLFLOWERS, a narrative comedy web series by filmmaker Kieran Turner (director of acclaimed doc Jobriath A.D), world premieres this week with the first of five weekly episodes on Blip TV. Set in the cruelly comedic dating world of modern NYC, WALLFLOWERS details the disastrous romantic exploits of a tight knit group of Gen-X stragglers coping with the ecstasy and the agony of single life - as members of a Manhattan support group for the hopelessly single. NewFest (www.newfest.org), New York's Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Film Festival will soon roll out the rainbow carpet for its 24th season, from tonight, July 27th through Tuesday, July 31st. The stellar lineup includes fourteen narrative features, four documentaries and many anticipated short films. New this year, all screenings and panels will take place at Manhattan's film mecca, The Film Society of Lincoln Center's Walter Reade Theater, marking a continued relationship between the two pioneering film organizations.

Outfest 2012, the 30th Los Angeles Gay & Lesbian Film Festival, has announced that it will screen a never-before-broadcast episode of ABC's hit comedy show "Happy Endings." Following the screening, members of the cast and creating team will take part in a Q&A, including cast members Adam Pally (Max), Casey Wilson (Penny), Stephen Guarino (Derrick), as well as creator and executive producer David Caspe and executive producer Jonathan Groff. The panel and screening will take place today, July 22 at 1:00pm at the Director's Guild of America (DGA 1).
