WAITRESS: THE MUSICAL pops out of the oven soon!

Pop superstar Sara Bareilles will be singing some of her original songs penned for her upcoming mainstage adaptation of the adorable indie comedy WAITRESS on her new album and the performer recently shared a preview of the project via a tantalizing new video clip available here and recently confirmed wrapping the album, with a witty new social media photo now available to view, as well, and, now, the official American Repertory Theater page has revealed tickets to the premiere production of the musical will go on sale to A.R.T. members on June 16, with public pre-sale for the previews beginning June 23.

Additionally, tickets for the run to the general public will go on sale on July 1.

Also, the A.R.T. page shared a shot of a potential preliminary logo this weekend commenting, "The 'this logo design is never going to work' pie #WaitressART"

Of note, the workshop version of the show included Christopher Fitzgerald, Amber Iman, Bryce Pinkham, Andy Karl, Keala Settle, Dierdre Friel and Barrett Wilbert Weed, among others. The A.R.T. production is set to begin previews this August in Cambridge, Massachusetts, directed by Diane Paulus and choreographed by Chase Brock.

This week, Bareilles posted a shot of the film's famous pie with the hashtag "#cantwaitress" this week, commenting, "don't know who made this but oh boy, I love. #cantwaitress".

The musical theatre newbie previously shared tidbits on the highly anticipated project via social media last month, as well, writing, "This is happening. #waitress #me #mynextrecord #manythings".

Additionally, Bareilles recently took to Twitter to share her excitement over the show, amusingly writing, "Oh boy. My heart is soaked with excitement. Watching this musical start to take shape is insanely gratifying and precious. #pee".

Yet, the real question remains: does she want pie with that?!
