Twelve Angry Men Announces National Tour and West End Production

Roundabout Theatre Company's Artistic Director, Todd Haimes is proud to announce two forthcoming productions of the critically acclaimed Broadway premiere production of Reginald Rose's drama Twelve Angry Men directed by Scott Ellis currently at the American Airlines Theatre (227 West 42nd Street) now through Sunday, May 15th, 2005. The original limited engagement was scheduled through December 19, 2004, and has been extended seven times.

NATIONAL TOUR:
The national tour will be presented by the Roundabout Theatre Company in association with Clear Channel Entertainment (CEO, Scott Zeiger) beginning in the 2006-2007 season. Directed by Scott Ellis, the tour will enlist the same design team assembled for the Broadway production and will hold auditions for the play in the fall of 2005.

LONDON, West End:
The London, West End production will be presented by Bill Kenwright in the autumn of 2006, directed by Scott Ellis. Bill Kenwright is the producer of the current Broadway production of Tennessee Williams' The Glass Menagerie starring Jessica Lange. Other Broadway productions include last season's Cat On A Hot Tin Roof, the multi-Tony Award winning Best Revival A Doll's House, starring Janet McTeer, Complicite's production of The Chairs, Oscar Wilde's An Ideal Husband, the stage adaptation of Graham Greene's Travels With My Aunt, the Tony Award winning Medea starring Diana Rigg, the long running musical Blood Brothers, which he also directed, and Brian Friel's Dancing At Lughnasa.

Twelve Angry Men on Broadway features Tom Aldredge (Juror #9), Mark Blum (Juror # 1), Robert Clohessy (Juror #6), Robert Foxworth (Juror #3), Peter Friedman (Juror #10), Boyd Gaines (Juror #8), Kevin Geer (Juror #2), Byron Jennings (Juror #11), Michael Mastro (Juror #5), Matte Osian (Guard), John Pankow (Juror #7), James Rebhorn (Juror #4) and Adam Trese (Juror #12).

Twelve Angry Men is now the longest running production at Roundabout's American Airlines Theatre. By May 15th, Twelve Angry Men will have played 229 regular performances (32 weeks).
