Tony Danza & More In HONEYMOON IN VEGAS Concert At 54 Below, 4/7
The rave-reviewed Paper Mill Playhouse production of screen-to-stage adaptation HONEYMOON IN VEGAS starring Tony Danza will get a reprise at NYC cabaret hotspot 54 Below in April according to a new listing on the official site.
Of note, HONEYMOON IN VEGAS stars Danza and Rob McClure, featuring a score by Tony Award-winner Jason Robert Brown and a book by Andrew Bergman, and is reported to be eyeing a Broadway run next season.
The official description of HONEYMOON IN VEGAS at 54 Below is as follows: "Come join Tony Danza, Rob McClure, Brynn O'Malley, Nancy Opel, David Josefsberg, Catherine Ricafort and the rest of the cast as they celebrate the new Broadway-bound musical Honeymoon in Vegas. A concert featuring songs from the show that Ben Brantley of The New York Times described as "a revelation" and "a sure bet!" Written by Jason Robert Brown and Andrew Bergman, and directed by Gary Griffin, Honeymoon in Vegas is the next big thing - here's a chance to celebrate with the cast and get a sneak peek prior to Broadway!"
