"The Tenant," new play by Bill Donnelly, directed by Vincent J. Balzano at Theater for the New City, 155 First Ave., NYC (between Ninth and Tenth Streets), scheduled to play through December 9, will close as originally scheduled on December 2.

This drama is a bittersweet story of everyday love and destiny with a "Twilight Zone" touch. It depicts a dangerous seduction of mind and body in a Midtown tenement building, where a working-class couple take a Korean immigrant woman into their hearts. Depending on how you see it, it becomes the tragedy of a lonely woman's unsuccessful act of kindness or the perilous seduction of an innocent couple by her mystic approach to love, life and healing.
