After a successful round of this tomfoolery in 2011, Piper McKenzie's Dainty Cadaver returns to The Brick! In this Exquisite Corpse-style playmaking project, multiple playwrights collaborate on a single work without knowing what the hell the others are doing. Each writer reads the previous scene, writes a new scene, and passes it on to the next writer – who doesn't see any of what came earlier. Beautiful madness ensues.

For its second edition, Piper McKenzie will present one-night-only performances of three new plays written in this unique collaborative style, with results ranging from inspired chaos to eerie synchronicity – all tied together by the unique voices of 18 hot playwrights, divided into three teams and staged by three intrepid directors. The teams and their performance details are as follows:

TEAM A will perform on Friday, Feb. 3, at 8pm. Those featured on TEAM A include Joshua Conkel (MilkMilkLemonade), Adam Scott Mazer (Death Valley), Timothy McCown Reynolds (The Lycanthrope), Laura Rohrman (Reporter Girl), Trav S.D. (Willy Nilly), and Jen Silverman (Crane Story). TEAM A is directed by Jeff Lewonczyk (The Bubble of Solace)

TEAM B will perform on Saturday, Feb. 4 at 8 pm. TEAM B stars Kelly Jean Fitzsimmons (All I Want Is One More Meanwhile), Nina Mansfield (Clown Therapy), Chance Muehleck (LIVE/FEED), Roger Nasser (Roger Nasser Is the One-Man 10-Minute A Streetcar Named Desire), Adam Szymkowicz (Nerve), and Temar Underwood (The Lady Drug Dealer and the Heist). TEAM B is directed by Pete Boisvert (Infectious Opportunity)

TEAM C will perform on Sunday, Feb. 5 at 3pm. TEAM C features Gyda Arber (Red Cloud Rising), Julia Barclay (Besides, you lose your soul or the History of Western Civilization), Nat Cassidy (The Eternal Husband), Tim Errickson (Endless Summer Nights), Marc Spitz (P.S. It's Poison), and Leah Nanako Winkler (Flying Snakes in 3-D). TEAM C is directed by Patrice Miller (Bunny Lake Is Missing)

Piper McKenzie's Dainty Cadaver will perform at The Brick Theater (575 Metropolitan Avenue between Union and Lorimer Street in Williamsburg, Brooklyn). Tickets to all shows ($10) may be purchased online at www.bricktheater.com or by calling 212-352-3101 or 212-868-4444.
