Taylor Tomasi Hill departed Moda Operandi where she served as creative director since 2011. She announced her exit in an email Thursday morning: "After two years with [Moda Operandi], the time has come to move forward with the next chapter."

WWD said that according to sources there were rumors of friction between Hill and Lauren Santo Domingo, the website's cofounder. Apparantly Domingo had promised Hill an equity stake in Moda Operandi that didn't happen when the board shot down the proposal.

Hill could not be reached by WWD for a comment and her next move is yet unknown.
