Disney Theatrical Productions has announced a Lottery Ticket Program for their production of TARZAN®.

Two and a half hours prior to each performance of TARZAN®, guests are invited to fill out a lottery card at the Richard Rodgers Theatre (226 West 46th Street) to enter the drawing for a limited number of $20 lottery tickets to that particular performance. Lottery tickets are located in the first row of the orchestra. Winners will be drawn two hours prior to the curtain time for each performance. There will be a limit of 2 tickets per person and tickets may be purchased using cash only. Winners must be present with identification at the time of the drawing to purchase their tickets.

Disney's Thomas Schumacher says, "As someone who grew up wanting to see as much live theatre as I could, it is such a pleasure to be able to make these reduced price tickets available for TARZAN®. The $20 Lottery Ticket Program will allow us to share this theatrical experience with audience members who may not otherwise be able to see TARZAN®, and that is invaluable to me."

The lottery program will begin with the first preview on Friday, March 24th. TARZAN® will open May 10th at the Richard Rodgers Theatre (226 West 46th Street).

The production will star Josh Strickland as Tarzan, Jenn Gambatese as Jane, Merle Dandridge as Kala, Shuler Hensley as Kerchak, Chester Gregory II as Terk, Timothy Jerome as Professor Porter and Donnie Keshawarz as Clayton. Daniel Manche and Alex Rutherford will alternate in the role of Young Tarzan.

The production will also feature Darrin Baker, Marcus Bellamy, Celina Carvajal, Dwayne Clark, Veronica deSoyza, Kearran Giovanni, Michael Hollick, Joshua Kobak, Kara Madrid, Kevin Massey, Anastacia McCleskey, Rika Okamoto, Marlyn Ortiz, Whitney Osentoski, John Elliott Oyzon, Andy Pellick, Angela Phillips, Stefan Raulston, Horace V. Rogers, Sean Samuels, Nick Sanchez, Niki Scalera, Natalie Silverlieb, JD Aubrey Smith and Rachel Stern.

Two-time Tony Award® winner Bob Crowley (Aida, Carousel), directs and designs scenery and costumes for TARZAN®. The score includes five songs from the Disney film by Oscar® and seven-time GRAMMY® Award winner Phil Collins and will introduce nine new songs by Collins written exclusively for the theatrical production. Tony Award®-winner David Henry Hwang (M. Butterfly) has written the book, based on the story, Tarzan of the Apes, by Edgar Rice Burroughs, and the film, Tarzan®. Choreography is by Meryl Tankard, with aerial design by Pichón Baldinu (De La Guarda). Lighting design is by Tony Award®-winner Natasha Katz (Aida) and sound design is by John Shivers. Other members of the creative team include Paul Bogaev (Music Producer/Vocal Arrangements) and Doug Besterman (Orchestrations).

The Lottery Ticket Program may be suspended from time to time at the management's discretion. Check the box office for details. Lottery tickets are subject to availability. Performance times, prices, and dates and cast are subject to change without notice. All sales are final. No exchanges or refunds. Blackout dates and additional restrictions may apply.
