Saint Petersburg-born Ephraim Sykes has been a steady presence on Broadway since making his debut in THE LITTLE MERMAID. Subsequent appearances include MEMPHIS, NEWSIES and MOTOWN, and Off-Broadway audiences saw him as Benny in the 2011 revival of RENT.

The talented HAMILTON ensemble member also understudies the double role of Hercules Mulligan and James Madison.

As a wartime revolutionary, Ephraim Sykes is the latest subject in HAMILTON's series of portraits taken by photographer Josh Lehrer using his 1839 lens.
