The Lakewood Playhouse is proud to present its 4th ANNUAL "Special" JOINT PRESENTATON with its very own LAKEWOOD INSTITUTE of THEATRE - "TREASURE ISLAND" for 9 SHOWS ONLY! The famous story by Robert Louis Stevenson is adapted by Ken Ludwig and is sure to be a fantastic, swashbuckling tale of rollicking adventure for the entire family this holiday season!! The Show will run from DECEMBER 10th through the DECEMBER 20th and be performed on Thursdays, Fridays & Saturdays at 7:00pm and Sundays at 2:00pm.

Ticket Prices are $15.00 for Adults and $10.00 for Students & Children. The show is directed by The Lakewood Institute of Theatre's Education Director, JEREMY THOMPSON, and features Musical Direction by "LiT"'s Education Production manager, DEBORAH L. ARMSTRONG. This Production marks a true collaboration between the Lakewood Playhouse's Mainstage and its Education Department as it will also feature the Playhouse's Managing Artistic Director, JOHN MUNN, as Long John Silver!

The show has a HUGE CAST with Over 20 Actors of ALL AGES from Seven Years Old and up! It includes performances by returning actors Lydia Helt (Squire Trewlaney), Cameron Waters (Jim's Father / Captain ), Charlie Stevens (Ben Gunn / Blind Pew), Julie Cole (Jim's Mother), Paige Hansen (Widow Drews / Justice Death), Stephanie Huber (Israel Hands), Katie Helt (Ezekial Hazard), Andrew Redford (Billy Bones). It also introduces a number of new faces such as Karley Dammel (Young Jim Hawkins), Jennifer Davy (Adult Jim Hawkins) , Liberty White (Black Dog) , Mac Hansen (Josiah Bland) , Kyla Alphier (Tom Morgan), Abagail Webster (George Merry) , Jeffery Reda (Jimmy Rathbone) and Kiran Cunningham (Job O'Brian).

"Put a Little YO HO HO in Your Holidays!" A Festive Treat to Treasure. Hit Ahoy! X marks the spot of a bona fide festive treat! Treasure Island is the answer to every adventure-starved child's prayers! A stunning yarn of piracy on the tropical seas. At the center of it all are Jim Hawkins, a 14-year-old boy who longs for adventure, and the infamous Long John Silver, who is a complex study of good and evil, perhaps the most famous hero-villain of all time.
