On Sunday, April 13 at 2:00 p.m. and Wednesday, April 16 at 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. local times, Fathom Events and Turner Classic Movies (TCM) invite movie lovers on a journey through Hollywood history as "And the Oscar Goes To..." tells the story of the little statuette that became the industry's most coveted prize. Packed with great moments from 85 years of Academy Award ceremonies, "And the Oscar Goes To..." begins with a TCM piece created exclusively for Fathom Events featuring TCM host Robert Osborne sharing his Oscar memories. The special will also feature extensive clips from Oscar-winning and nominated films, plus behind-the-scenes ceremony footage from the Hollywood Newsreel.

The event will be presented in more than 300 U.S. movie theaters through Fathom's Digital Broadcast Network. Tickets and complete theater list are available at participating theater box offices and online at www.FathomEvents.com (theaters and participants are subject to change).

"And the Oscar Goes To..." tells the history of the Academy Awards, highlighting the relationship between the honored movies and major historical events and trends. Woven throughout the narrative are segments about the major categories, including Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Director and Best Picture, as well as sidebars about the annual parade of fashions on the red carpet, memorable host monologues and emotion-packed tributes.

"TCM and Fathom's nationwide screening of 'And the Oscar Goes To...' is a great chance for movie lovers to come together to celebrate the history and glamour of the Academy Awards," said Dennis Adamovich, senior vice president of digital, affiliate, lifestyle and enterprise commerce for TBS, TNT and TCM. "As TCM continues to expand the reach of its brand, this screening represents another way in which we are able to connect directly with our community of fans."

"Movie aficionados will love this insider's look into the world of the Oscars," said Shelly Maxwell, executive vice president of Fathom Events. "There's simply no better way to enjoy these priceless moments of movie history than to experience them where they were meant to be seen...on the big screen."
