Sutton Foster Expected to Return to ANYTHING GOES Tonight Following Bout of Tonsillitis; Joel Grey Still Out

BroadwayWorld has confirmed that after suffering a week-long bout of tonsillites, Anything Goes star Sutton Foster will return to the production tonight, October 18.  Foster has been out sick for over a week, with her understudy covering performances. Anything Goes' other star, Joel Grey, has also been out of this show since September 30, after sustaining a foot injury while walking around in NYC. He was expected to be out of the show for two weeks, however, his return date has not yet been announced.

Following an extension, Anything Goes will now play through Sunday, April 29th, 2012 on Broadway at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre. It was originally scheduled to run through Sunday, July 31st, 2011.

Anything Goes stars two time Tony® Award winner Sutton Foster as "Reno Sweeney" and Tony® and Academy® Award winner Joel Grey as "Moonface Martin." Anything Goes is directed & choreographed by Tony® Award winner Kathleen Marshall.

The cast currently features John McMartin as "Elisha Whitney," Kelly Bishop as "Evangeline Harcourt," Colin Donnell as "Billy Crocker", Adam Godley as "Lord Evelyn Oakleigh," Erin Mackey as "Hope Harcourt," Jessica Stone as "Erma," Walter Charles as "Captain," Robert Creighton as "Purser," Andrew Cao as "Luke," and Raymond J.
