Street Theatre Company Will Present CATS in Concert, 2/20-24

Street Theatre Company brings Nashville the hit musical Cats as the first of its two 2013 "In Concert" productions. Running on Broadway for an astounding eighteen years and winning a Tony for 'Best Musical', Cats tells the story of a tribe of cats called the Jellicles and the night they decide which cat will ascend to the Heaviside Layer and come back to a new life.

STC's production features all of the beloved songs including "Memory", "Macavity", and "The Rum Tum Tugger" in an In Concert style performance which has become one of STC's most popular innovations. The cast features area favorites including Nancy Allen as Grizabella, Michael Kitts as Rum Tum Tugger, Shawn Lewis as Old Deuteronomy, and features STC newcomer Tyler Evick as Munkustrap, along with a cast of 30 singers.

Street Theatre Company is supported by Metro Nashville Arts Commission and Tennessee Arts Commission. Cats in Concert runs February 20-24 for six performances only.
